Now Accepting Applications for the Share the Future Storytelling Grant

We want to share your *business’s goals for the New Year. Are you targeting a new customer, launching a new product/service line, or attending your first industry trade show? In 750 words or less, tell us what your Golden Isles business is aiming to achieve in the New Year, and you could receive up to $2,000 to help you reach that goal!

During the campaign, we will highlight business stories on our social media channels using the hashtag #MyBrunswick, increasing the visibility of your firm and goals.

All submitted stories will be reviewed, and three finalists will be chosen based on the criteria outlined below. Each finalist will receive a grant of $500 to go towards the marketing of their business. One of the finalists will be selected by the Authority to receive an additional $1,500 to use for a specific marketing initiative that will support the growth of their business.

Examples of marketing initiatives include:

  • Media kit to announce a new product or service line of the business
  • Social media campaign
  • Print or promotional materials for a special event or trade show

Finalists will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Submission of a complete application packet, including release to use the submitted information for The Development Authority’s marketing materials
  • The Company is located in Glynn County, Georgia and is in good standing with all permits, and licensing requirements
  • The Company has been in business for more than one year
  • The marketing initiative outlined demonstrates a strong correlation to supporting the business’s goals or growth
  • Preference will be given to companies that are in our targeted industry clusters: Aerospace, Manufacturing, Food Industries, Distribution, and Logistics.
  • Participation in the active campaign. If your Company is featured on any of our social media platforms, you are asked to re-share the post to your Company’s Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram page.
  • Finalists are encouraged to consider a Glynn County, Georgia-based marketing firm for their project, but this is not a requirement for selection as a finalist. The Brunswick & Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory can help you find a local firm: http://bit.ly/34IXioT
