The Port of Brunswick is owned and operated by the Georgia Ports Authority.  The Port of Brunswick is located 12 miles landward from the open Atlantic Ocean. Currently, the channel width is being widened to 1,000 feet and the depth is being increased to 36 feet. The vertical height clearance of the Sidney Lanier Bridge is 185 feet at mean high tide.

Port of Savannah and the Port of Jacksonville

Glynn County is also located one hour south of the Port of Savannah and one hour north of the Port of Jacksonville, both via I-95.  Several existing industries use both ports to ensure they get the best price on service.
