The Brunswick Golden Isles Airport has been the home of airline service to a number of commercial hubs for more than 30 years.  Service is now provided by Atlantic Southeast Airlines/ The Delta Connection, with several flights per day to Delta’s Atlanta hub.  This service is provided with Canadair Regional Jets (CRJ’s) with amenities of a flight attendant and on-board restroom facilities.  Flight time to Atlanta is approximately 37 minutes. The Port of Brunswick lies on the tip of the curvature of the Georgia coast and is the nearest Atlantic port to the Pacific Coast.  With only five major course changes, a large seagoing vessel can safely navigate from the open sea into the Brunswick Harbor.  Operated by the Georgia Ports Authority (GPA), the Port of Brunswick includes three distinct terminals.  At 1,700 acres, Colonel’s Island Terminal moves both RoRo and agri-bulk commodities.  Its autoport facility handles more than 12 major manufacturers.
