FLETCINDUSTRY DAY – DOING BUSINESS WITH FLETC

Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) in cooperation with the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce; the Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority, the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, the Georgia Department of Economic Development; and the Golden Isles Career Academy is hosting an Industry Day for “Doing Business with FLETC”.

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) is the Nation’s largest provider of law enforcement training. It provides basic and advanced training to more than 95 federal partner organizations and thousands of state, local, tribal, and international law enforcement officers and agents at FLETC’s four domestic training sites, at the International Law Enforcement Academies (ILEA), and at export locations throughout the United States. FLETC engages in ongoing training review, development, and research in coordination with stakeholders at all levels of law enforcement to ensure its training continues to meet its partners’ needs. FLETC is a forward-thinking organization that proactively forms strategic new partnerships and maintains an eye on the future of the law enforcement profession in the interest of advancing the Nation’s homeland security and public safety goals specifically through law enforcement training and preparedness.  Since 1970, FLETC has trained over one million students.

The first step to success in doing business with the FLETC is knowing WHO we are, WHAT we do and buy, and WHERE vendors may capitalize on opportunities.  This industry day is intended to provide an overview of the Procurement mission and general framework on doing business with FLETC.
